We wish to congratulate Eli Overton who was baptized Sunday morning. Eli is the great nephew of Martha Owen and Marie Sawyer. He is also the brother of Mason Overton who was baptized last Sunday.

We extend our sympathy to Barbara Wood and family in the loss of her husband, Bill Wood, who passed away Friday. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9 AM until the time of the funeral service at 10 AM at the chapel at the Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville, KY.

We extend our sympathy to Randel and Barbara Lamastus in the loss of Randel’s father, Basil Lamastus. Visitation will be held today from 4-8 PM at Dickson Funeral Home, with a graveside service Thursday at 10:30 AM at Union Cemetery. He was the grandfather of Tate Lamastus.

We extend our sympathy to Beverly Spicer and family in the loss of her mother, Jolene Clifton, who passed away Thursday. Funeral services were held Sunday at Taylor Funeral Home.

• B.J. Smith, who is in Centennial Medical Center recovering from a broken hip
• Wayne Heflin, who has returned home from the hospital
• Charles Keele, who received good results from recent tests
• Jim Reynolds, who is in Horizon Medical Center being treated for a mild stroke
• Martin Deen, (uncle of Lynette Carlucci) who is in Maury Regional Medical Center with pneumonia
• Loyd Nash, (father of Bart Nash) who has returned home from NHC; please pray for continued recovery

June items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are umbrellas and ponchos. These items will be provided to each of our mission house residents when they move in. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.

This Sunday, June 6 is Promotion Sunday! Children ages Kindergarten through 5th grade promote to the next grade.
