- Sharon Webster, who has returned home on bedrest
- Jonah Marlin, who is scheduled for back surgery Thursday
- Shirley Dover, who responded Sunday morning asking for prayers for the difficulties in her life
- Melba Lankford, who is recovering from surgery
- Eloyce Reed, who is home recovering from a fall; no visitors at this time
- Loretta Morgan, who is home recovering from knee replacement surgery
- Evelyn Adkins, who is scheduled for cataract surgery Thursday
- Wayne Cornwell, (longtime friend of the O’Neal and Massie families) who has been diagnosed with Ocular Melanoma and will undergo surgery soon
- Harvey Church, (coworker of Ted Williams, Robby Harmon and Becky Ragan) who will begin treatment for multiple myeloma today

Sunday, August 1, will be Walnut Street Bible Class Teacher Appreciation Day. Please note the following for August 1:
- Please note that the evening assembly will begin at 5 PM.
- Kindergarten Recognition will take place at 5 PM.
- During the worship time, Bryan’s lesson will deal with the importance of teaching God’s word and thankfulness for all those in our Education Ministry.
- Following the evening assembly, there will be a catered meal for the congregation as an expression of thanks to all who are involved in communicating God’s Word.
All 3rd-5th grades are invited to a CIA Back-To-School Party Saturday, July 31 from 2-4 PM in the Loft. We will pack a box of school supplies, bring an extra school supply to share! Please contact Pat Pewitt at 615-970-9172 if you have any questions.
The Family Fellowship group will enjoy a pool party at Buckner Pool on Thursday, July 29 from 6-8 PM. Cost is $10 per family. Drinks will be provided. Bring extra money if you want to sign up for pizza.
There will be a security training session for those currently serving on a security team, (as well as anyone who is interested in participating) on Saturday, August 7 in room 406 (2 PM). Kyle Dickerson will lead this training.
July items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are plastic food containers and cleaning products. These items will be provided to each of our mission house residents when they move in. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.
