Walnut Street will host a mobile blood drive today from 9 AM to 2 PM in our main parking lot. Blood inventory levels are critically low right now and donors are desperately needed. All blood donated will be used in our local hospital. You can make an appointment at bloodassurance.org, or drop in Tuesday between 9-2.
There will be an informational Bible Bowl meeting this Sunday following the evening worship service in room 412. This meeting is for anyone interested in participating in Bible Bowl, along with their parents.
Join us for Walnut Street’s Vacation Bible School tonight beginning at 7 PM in the Auditorium! We’ll learn all about how My God Is So Big! Come out and enjoy skits, crafts, games and refreshments. Invite your friends and neighbors.
Sunday, August 1, will be Walnut Street Bible Class Teacher Appreciation Day. Please note the following for August 1:
- Please note that the evening assembly will begin at 5 PM.
- Kindergarten Recognition will take place at 5 PM. Parents and children entering kindergarten in the fall are asked to notify the church office and email a photo of their child to pmassie@wscoc.com.
- During the worship time, Bryan’s lesson will deal with the importance of teaching God’s word and thankfulness for all those in our Education Ministry.
- Following the evening assembly, there will be a catered meal for the congregation as an expression of thanks to all who are involved in communicating God’s Word. Please sign up for this meal on the QR code no later that this Sunday, July 25.
July items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are plastic food containers and cleaning products. These items will be provided to each of our mission house residents when they move in. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.
Mark your calendars for the Ladies’ Card Signing and Encouragement get together for Sunday, July 25th at 4:30 PM in the Lower Gathering Room.
