- Connie Harris, (sister-in-law of Pamela Massie and Walnut Street preschool teacher) who is home recovering from a heart attack
- Wade Spicer, (newborn grandson of Jeff and Beverly Spicer) who is home from the hospital
- Wayne Cornwell, (longtime friend of the O’Neal and Massie families) who is scheduled for scans on Thursday for Ocular Melanoma
- Bruce Dady, (friend of Deborah Jones) who is in ICU recovering from covid and is on dialysis

Make plans to attend Walnut Street’s annual Mother-Daughter Banquet to be held Monday, August 9 in the Fellowship Hall. Cost is $14 for adults, $10 ages 7-11, under 7 is free. You may sign up for this event at the sign-up desk or call the church office. Deadline to sign up is Thursday, August 5 at 9 AM.
There will be a security training session for those currently serving on a security team, (as well as anyone who is interested in participating) on Saturday in room 406 (2 PM). Kyle Dickerson will lead this training.
Our preschool has openings in our 4-year-old classes and in our 5-year-old full-time preschool program. We also are taking applications for experienced teachers and assistants in both the preschool and childcare. Please call 615-441-3410 for more information.”
August items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are aluminum foil/trash bags of different sizes and Ziploc bags. These items will be provided to each of our mission house residents when they move in. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.
