We wish to congratulate Maggie Nicks, who was baptized Tuesday at Camp Leatherwood.  Maggie is the daughter of Patrick and Amanda Nicks.

We extend our sympathy to the family and friends of Dot Lewis. Dot worked in our child care center for many years.  Visitation will be held today from 2:30 to 8 PM and Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM at Dickson Funeral Home.

Make plans to attend Walnut Street’s annual Ice Cream Fellowship on Sunday, July 4 following the evening worship service.  Bring a freezer of your favorite homemade ice cream (or a plate of cookies) to share.

Please note that the Walnut Street church office, as well as the Christian Childcare Center, will be closed on Monday, July 5 in observance of the July 4 holiday.

July items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are plastic food containers/cleaning products. These items will be provided to each of our mission house residents when they move in. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.
