We wish to congratulate Kendyl McAlister, who was baptized Sunday morning. Kendyl is the daughter of Bryan and Mendy McAlister.
We extend our sympathy to Kay Jaynes in the loss of her mother, Jonnie Holton, who passed away Tuesday. Funeral services were held yesterday in Georgia.
We extend our sympathy to Evelyn Adkins in the loss of her sister, Joanne Allen, who passed away Thursday. Funeral services were held Sunday at the McDonald Funeral Home in Centerville. She was the aunt of Joy Adkins.

• Wayne Heflin, who has pneumonia; undergoing temporary dialysis
• Sandra Whittinghill, who is making improvements
• Kimberly Fowlkes, who is recovering from a week-long IV treatment plan in Jackson
• Mike Bouldin, (father of Jameson Bouldin) who is in Vanderbilt recovering from a fall
• Helen Lambert, (mother of Bud Lambert) who is dealing with cancer
• Odia Sylvis, (brother of Janice Davidson) who is in serious condition at Northcrest Hospital in Springfield

Sunday evening, May 2, at our 6 PM worship assembly, we will be remembering and celebrating the lives of our precious church family members who passed away from March 1, 2020 to April 4, 2021. Because of covid-19 restrictions, we were unable to share our love and sympathy to those who lost loved ones during that time. This assembly will provide a wonderful opportunity to remember, celebrate, and share God’s love with one another.
Leatherwood Bible Camp 2021: Registration for LBC will begin SUNDAY, MAY 2. Sign-up forms will be available at the Welcome Center. As always, space is limited, so please register your camper(s) as quickly as possible once registration opens. LBC is open to children ages 9-17, and the dates this year are June 27th -July 3rd. Mark your calendars for Walnut Street’s Annual Young Men’s Leadership Camp and Young Ladies’ Spiritual Growth Day Camp to be held Sunday, June 6 through Wednesday, June 9. Applications will be available in the Gathering Room Sunday morning.
Parents of High School Seniors: reminder that there is a graduation reception meeting on Sunday, 5/2 at 4:30 PM.
April items for the Golden Deeds Ministry are first aid items/toiletries. These items will be provided to each of our mission house residents when they move in. There is a collection bin in the Gathering Room.
