Because of the unprecedented cold and the hazardous conditions of roads and parking lots, the Walnut Street elders are asking everyone to stay home Wednesday evening. We encourage all our members to take advantage of this time at home to share a devotional together, perhaps built around our “Going Deeper” Bible reading. The reading for Wednesday is Leviticus 16-18. Please see the chapter summaries (corrected from earlier CareLine posting) listed below. These chapters should provide the opportunity for rich discussion. Please help spread this message, and be safe in all your activities. We look forward to seeing you Sunday. Anyone planning to go on the Philippines mission trip is reminded to notify Tim Spann by March 1.
Any new members or visitors from 2014 or 2015 who have not attended a new member lunch are invited to the new member lunch scheduled for March 1. We ask that you RSVP to the church office with the number in your family who will be attending. Elders, ministers and their families are also invited to attend.
There will be a Camp Leatherwood staff meeting on Saturday, February 21 (6 PM) at Pond Church of Christ. Please bring finger foods and come prepared to offer ideas for camp.
