 We extend our sympathy to Carol and Brian Ragan in the loss of Carol’s mother, Emma Hall, who passed away this morning.  Funeral arrangements are not known at this time.

We extend our sympathy to George Miller and family on the loss of his sister, Mickey Fraizer, who passed away Saturday. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 13 from 4-7 PM and Friday from 12 until the time of services at 2 PM at Taylor Funeral Home.

 Prayers are requested for

  • George Cummings, (father of Paul Cummings) who is recovering from surgery
  • Tricee Thomas, who is recovering from surgery
  • Pete Graham, who has a consultation with a back surgeon
  • Julie Hicks, who is having medical issues

 Flu shots will be offered on Wednesday, October 12 from 9-11 AM in the library.  Please bring your Medicare (part A or B) or other insurance information.  No sign up is necessary.

Food for Thought business lunch will be today at 12 PM for those signed up to attend.  Our speaker will be George Caudill.

The Senior Ministry Group will be going on a trip to Rugby and Pall Mall (in East Tennessee) for a Leaf Viewing Trip on Thursday, October 20. Sign-up in the Gathering Room and see the Edifier for more details.

The Men’s Monday Evening Devo will be meeting the 2nd Monday of the month beginning November 14 at 6:30 PM.

The CIA group will have a hayride at the Tidwell farm on Saturday, October 22.  The bus will leave at 3 PM and return at 5:30 PM.  Children and parents are welcome to ride the bus.
