We extend our sympathy to Lisa Wright and family in the loss of her aunts, Mel Saylor and Betty McElroy, who both passed away this morning in Georgia.

We extend our sympathy to Melvin Yates and family on the loss of his sister Louise Jones, who passed away Sunday evening. Funeral services were held yesterday at Dickson Funeral Home.

Habitat for Humanity is beginning a build project in Dickson this Saturday, October 24 and could use some extra volunteers to assist the group.  If you are willing to help, please contact Joe Deweese at 615-714-1931.

Walnut Street will honor all of Dickson’s emergency responders at a lunch to be held today from 11 AM to 1 PM in the fellowship hall.  Be sure to stop by during those hours to tell them how much we appreciate their service to our community.

The CIA is hosting a weenie roast on Saturday, October 24 from 3:30-6:30 at the home of Randy and Bonnie Tidwell.  A bus will leave the parking lot at 3:30, or parents can drive their children. Please see the sign-up sheet at the information booth.
