A note from Chad  Fussell as he leaves for the Philippines this morning.

There was one ticket this morning that had my name on it, however, each of you are here with me right now. The love, encouragement and kindness that I have experienced in the last 7 years at Walnut Street has been like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. I pray that GOD will use me this week to show that same kind of grace that you all have shown me over the years. I pray for the ones who sacrifice so much so that I can board a plane to go help our foreign brethren. Please keep this group in your prayers as we go into the city of Tacloban (tock-low-bon) (Ithink). Pray for health and strength. Pray for the weather to be good. Pray for the hearts and minds of the people so that they can open up and receive the gift of Jesus. Please pray for our families that are at home who are holding down the fort. Please pray for our safe travels on a daily basis. (If you’ve been to the Philippines you know speed limits and stop signs are mere suggestions.) I thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of my heart for the chance to not only represent Walnut Street but to be the hands and feet of our Savior Jesus to go and seek the lost.

In Christ,

Chad
