We wish to congratulate Roger and Christy Chester on the birth of their granddaughter, Rhiannon Maisy Roberts, who was born Tuesday. Proud parents are Skeeter and Erin Roberts. Proud uncle and aunt are Matt Chester and Kaitlyn Chester.
We wish to congratulate Troy and Kay Gonzales on the birth of their granddaughter, Emarie Webb, who was born Saturday. Proud parents are Chris and Erin Webb.
We extend our sympathy to Elaine Beard in the loss of her husband, Boyd Beard. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Taylor Funeral Home. He was the father of Lisa Harris.
We extend our sympathy to Martha Hudson in the loss of her sister, Marion Lewis, who passed away Sunday. Funeral services were held yesterday at Dickson Funeral Home.
We extend our sympathy to Fara White and family in the loss of her grandmother, Geraldine Little. Funeral services were held Thursday, September 7 in Tipton, Indiana.
We extend our sympathy to Roger Chester in the loss of his cousin, Shaun Franks.

- Don Russell, (brother of Cindy Leach) who has been discharged from the hospital
- Rick Gray, (husband of Betty Ruth Gray, father of Ashley Fussell and B.J. Owen) who has an infection in his jawbone and will undergo surgery on September 19 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center
- James Lawson, (father of Letha Chandler) who is recovering from a stroke at a rehab facility in Franklin, TN
- Jean Gooch, (mother of Mark Gooch and Lori Whitaker) who is in St. Thomas being treated for fluid, did not have a heart attack

Reminder for those who signed up: The Senior Ministry General Jackson Riverboat trip is Friday, September 22. The bus will leave the church parking lot at 9:30 AM.
A Special Outdoor Worship Service Sunday, September 24 at 6 PM on the lawn of the War Memorial Building. Group activities starting at 4PM and a picnic on the grounds at 5 PM. Mr. Norman will be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs. Sign sheets for baked beans, potato salad, chips and desserts will be available in all adult classes Sunday morning.
Make plans to attend the Men’s Devotional Monday, September 18 at 6:30 PM in room 406.
Mark your calendars for the upcoming Men’s Retreat to be held Friday, September 22 (6 PM) to Saturday, September 23 (lunch) at Camp Ridgedale. Sign up in the Gathering Room. Dead line to sign up is Sunday, September 17.
