Bob Spencer and Alan Ragan, Youth Ministers
Bob Spencer and Alan Ragan have served as the youth ministers for the Walnut Street Congregation for several years.

Bob Spencer
Bob is an elder and Sunday school teacher in addition to working with the youth at Walnut Street. He is an attorney, registered nurse, nurse practitioner and Assistant Executive Director of the Renaissance Center in Dickson. He has served on the Dickson City Council and the City of Dickson Park Board. He and his wife, Sherrie, have two children, Andrea (Brad) and Jeremy (Holly) both of whom are married and attend Walnut Street. Bob and Sherrie have three grandchildren, Grey, Mia and Jude. They have been active in youth ministry at Walnut Street since 1987.

Alan Ragan
Alan is a deacon and serves on the missions committee in addition to working with the youth. He is a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University with a degree in accounting/finance. He is a Realtor and Auctioneer with Ragan’s Five Rivers Realty and Auction Company in Dickson. He is a former county commissioner, a former President of the Dickson County Board of Realtors, a former Director of the Greater Nashville Board of Realtors and Tennessee Association of Realtors. Alan and his wife, Becky, have three children, Carrie (2000), Erran (2002) and Hardeman (2004). They have been involved in youth ministry at Walnut Street since 1996.
