Opening Doors devotional books are available to each of our families, who have not already received their family copy, for pickup in the church office Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm. If you plan to give the book as a birthday or holiday gift, a voluntary donation of five dollars ($5) to cover future reprinting cost is requested. There is no donation requested for outreach or ministry uses.
Those who purchased a poinsettia for the remembrance tree may take it home or give it to someone after Bible study on December 18th. After evening worship on the 18th, unclaimed poinsettias will be taken to local nursing homes.
The next D.O.T.S. dinner outing has been relocated from Sister’s Restaurant to Ace Diner on Thursday, December 15th, at 6 pm. Please sign up in the Gathering Room no later than Wednesday, December 14th, if you plan to attend. For more details, contact Kim Long at 319-8458 or 446-7765.
The next W.O.W. (Women of Walnut Street) event is scheduled for Friday, December 16th, at 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Drinks will be provided. Everyone is asked to bring finger-foods. This will be a card-making event! Each participant will get to take home one card and the remainder will be given to the Card Ministry for use in card bags.
